Clicker Training 101

If you would like your pup to learn behaviours quickly and efficiently or perhaps you want them to have a few tricks up their sleeves for when guests come over, clicker training is for you. We use it to prepare dogs for work in TV and film, but it's also the fastest way to train a dog in basic behaviours.

Good Manners

Are you tired of your dog barking incessantly and jumping up on your guests? Does your dog beg at the table for food? When a stranger gives your dog a treat does he/she try to take their fingers too?

Why not teach your dog some manners? It's not as hard as it looks. Take this two-hour workshop and you'll have a polite dog in no time! We'll give you the tools and the know-how and you'll soon have a proper pup!

Cats and Dogs

If you're trying to keep chaos at bay between a cat and a dog, let us help! We can assist you in integrating a new dog with an old cat, a new cat with an old dog, or simply try to find harmony with both in the home.

Bringing Baby Home

So you're bringing home a baby? Congratulations! How does your pup feel about this? ...not sure, are you?

Dogs are creatures of habit and thrive on consistency and schedules, so what is about to happen may cause utter chaos in your home, starting with the four paws.

Let us come over and help you prepare for this exciting, but also potentially challenging time. We will walk you through some scenarios and teach you how to control your dog while you have your hands full of a new bundle of joy.

Dogs and Kids

When you find yourself a little overwhelmed with a dog in the home with children under 10. Let us help you develop the skills you need to manage the household and make it a win-win situation for everyone.

Leash Manners

Dogs don't come pre-programmed with manners on leash so it's something we have to work at in order to have success. Success might just mean getting from point A to point B without being dragged into traffic, knocked off your feet, or losing a grip on the leash and losing your dog.

We can help you teach your pup to behave mannerly on leash and keep their focus on you in crowded places. We will also work on proper greetings for dog-dog and dog-human interaction.

Rescue Me

If you are thinking about adopting a rescue dog, or if you already have, this workshop is for you. We will discuss the various challenges when bringing home a rescue dog and give you the tools to manage so that your new pup doesn't end up back behind bars.

We can help you teach your pup to behave mannerly on leash and keep their focus on you in crowded places. We will also work on proper greetings for dog-dog and dog-human interaction.

This workshop is available (as Rescue Rehab for private students but also) for groups.

You Need Therapy

Have you ever considered sharing your dog's love with others? Is your dog well-socialized, comfortable around people, and always seeking affection? Therapy work might be in your future. There are many facilities that need more Therapy Dogs and you could be next.

We will walk you through the process of becoming a Pet Partners Team and provide the training, evaluation and placement assistance as well!

Safe & Low-Stress Handling

Your groomer will thank us for this! If your pup does not like being handled or groomed, we can certainly help. We never want our dogs to have a stressful experience at the vet or the groomer, so why not teach them that it's a great place to visit and that they don't need to be frightened? We would love to work with you on safe and low-stress handling for your dog in order to achieve this goal.

If you are a groomer and would like a leg up when it comes to handling uncomfortable dogs, this workshop is also for you!

Separation Anxiety

Does your pup panic when left alone or is separated from you? Don't delay - nip this behaviour in the bud with our help. We have extensive experience in this area and would love to share that knowledge with you.

We can give you the tools to work through this stressful challenge and find a happy ending for both you and your pup.
