"I brought Maya, my white German shepherd, to Whatta Pup! for basic obedience training. She was only 12 weeks old at the start of the class, and like all puppies, she loved to zoom around, ignore me and get herself into trouble.

I found Caryn's training to be positive (reward-based), comprehensive and, most important, effective. When she noticed that Maya wasn't heeling as well as she could, Caryn took us aside for one-on-one training outside of class hours and gave us an effective solution.

One day, after only a couple of lessons, Maya and I ran into my neighbour's Labrador in the lobby of my building. Both dogs started to leap toward each other, and I said, "Maya, sit!" Immediately, Maya turned toward me and sat down. My neighbour was amazed that, in that situation, my puppy was better behaved than her adult, trained dog.

The entire 5-week course cost the same as 1 hour of private training that I had received from another company when Maya was younger, yet I received as much personal attention from Whatta Pup! -- plus an opportunity to socialize with other puppies, detailed notes from all the classes, and much more tangible results.
