Booking, Refund & Cancellation Policy

When registering for any of our programs, please ensure to read our policies below:

Group Classes
Your payment holds your spot in our class and prevents others from registering. Refunds are not granted once registration is confirmed.

If you are unable to attend a class, you can follow along with the weekly notes that are sent and can arrange a 15 minute refresher just before the next class.

If your dog is unable to attend a class, you can still join us and watch so that you can easily follow the weekly notes or you can arrange a 15 minute refresher just before the next class.

If your dog has a medical emergency that prevents him/her from continuing in the class, a partial credit may be given for the missed classes, to be used towards a future class (to be taken within 3 months). A $25 administration fee will apply. A note from your Veterinarian will be required in order to receive the credit.

If your dog is due to be spayed or neutered during any five-week course, arrange for the surgery on the day after class so that he/she has 6 full days to recuperate and can return on a modified activity plan the following week.

Private Training (including Behaviour Modification and Rescue Rehab)
All Private Training requires either:

  • full payment in advance, or
  • a booking deposit of $50 which will be applied to your full payment on the first lesson
For pre-paid lessons, we require 24 hours notice for cancellations; otherwise the lesson will be considered forfeit.

For lessons that are booked with a $50 deposit:

If you cancel your appointment with 48 hours' notice, your $50.00 deposit will be applied to your next booking, or refunded within 14 business days.

If you give less than 48 hours' notice, your $50.00 deposit will be accepted as a non-refundable, non-tax deductible contribution to Whatta Pup!

Completion of Private Lessons
All Private Lessons must be completed within 12 weeks of the first lesson. Some exceptions may apply.
