Behaviour Modification

Description

If you are dealing with a specific issue that would not be covered in a regular training session, we advise booking a Behaviour Modification session with us.

We modify complex behavioural challenges such as:

  • separation anxiety;
  • fears & phobias;
  • PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder);
  • OCD (Obessive Compulsive Disorder);
  • resource guarding
  • reactivity
  • aggression

Curriculum

A program will be designed for you and your pet, based on specific needs. A Behaviour Assessment will be done and clients will be provided with a training plan and homework. A follow-up within 2 weeks is required and ongoing regular lessons may be recommended.

Requirements

  • dogs must be healthy and up to date on vaccinations
  • humane tools and equipment (ask us!)
Aversive methods, shock/prong/pinch/choke collars are not permitted in our lessons. We treat our dogs like family and hope that you will too.

These lessons are offered at various times throughout the week and on weekends. Please contact us to book an appointment.

Pricing

Private lessons are available in single lessons or as a package of five, depending on your needs and are taught at our location or in your home. The first lesson is approximately 2 hours long and if you choose to purchase a package in advance, a discount will be given.
